Day 27. Something that didn’t happen, but should have? Buffy wishing Tara to become alive again.
Ok, not many people realize this but Joss had it planned to have Buffy be granted one wish. The whole episode was supposed to be centered around Buffy trying to find her wish, maybe making Angel/Spike human again, a stable relationship, etc.. and in the end she was supposed to decide to bring Tara back. Joss had it planned that Willow would be walking with Buffy, Willow would ask Buffy if she decided on her wish yet and Buffy would joke about these nice pair of shoes that she has. Laughing, Willow would say: “you didn’t wish for shoes, did you?” then they would then turn a corner and there would be Tara standing there, smiling at Willow.
This didn’t happen because Amber (the girl playing Tara) was not available for the shoot, so they dropped this storyline all together and left Tara dead. I already did a post about how much I love Tara, so I don’t want to go into again. But I will say, that these two were one of my favorite couples and I want these two back so bad.. Willow/Tara is waaaay better than Willow/Kennedy, guys.
Though, I have heard rumors that they are planning on bringing Tara back in the comics.
